Classrooms are not the only place we learn. At Venture Academy we value the opportunity for pupils to discover things about themselves in a range of environments.

Our pupils have access to specialist staff to enable us to offer a flexible approach to be able to keep children engaged in their learning for increasing periods of time. Strategies include a change of room to reduce anxiety or sensory strain. 

Our pupils have access to weekly Personal Development sessions allowing our pupils the opportunity to work towards their Duke of Edinburgh award. 

Other off-site activities include, travel training, horse riding, football tournaments and local visits.
