Pupil Premium Grant (PPG)

The pupil premium grant (PPG) is additional funding for publicly funded schools to help raise the educational attainment of disadvantaged pupils.

Schools and local authorities must follow the terms and conditions set out in the pupil premium conditions of grant.

Eligibility

• Pupils who have been entitled to free school meals in the last 6 years
• Children looked after and previously looked after children and young people
• Pupils who have a parent serving in the HM Forces or who has retired on a pension from the Ministry of Defence
